Company Functions

    Nine Nappy Productions - an Latino-African American owned company, is a diverse service, product, and entertainment production company.  Its foundation is in the graphic design and illustration areas, with consultation, website creation and maintenance forthcoming via IM-HOTEP Design Studios NINE Nappy Publishing  is our print matter division such as graphic novellas, posters, portfolios, and art books just to name a few.  NINE Nappy Pictures and Film  handles our animation, music video production, film and video properties, where each one is created and developed by this division.  Finally, The Marketplace is our planned internet store for customers to purchase our creations.  Currently, we have links to sellers such as lulu.com and cd baby.com for the customer to purchase our products.  We are still a very young company, with the talent and diverse backgrounds of our staff and creators, we hope to give you an enjoyable experience.

 

Company and Owner History

    NINE Nappy Productions was established by CEO/Owner Adalberto McFarlane in December 1994 as a vehicle to publish his action/adventure comic book series, SLOANE.  He has worked for various civilian clients who needed an illustration or assistance with their project.  He is now, currently working on finishing the first issue of SLOANE as well as updating and finishing his book of poetry, PEEP GAME - both which will be available to the public this year.  He added the other divisions to prepare for future projects or collaborations.  Through IM-HOTEP Design Studios, He has designed the music CD artwork for the SLOANE compilation; under NINE Nappy Pictures and Films, He co-produced and co-directed two music videos - "Woman 2.0" and "Summer Angel" with the indie band Obsidian Dyad.  He has also done illustrations for an independent gaming company, and flyers for various businesses in his local area. 

    He is currently enrolled in school, specifically at Penn Foster College to upgrade his graphic design skills, and at American InterContinental University-Online, He has acquired his Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  He is also a member of the National African American Congress (NAAC), and its Administrative Task Force; where he has designed in collaboration with the vice-chairperson, the logo for NAAC, as well as currently working on the organization's newsletter.
